Paper…For Reading and Crafting

If you are like me, you could never disregard paper products. In an age where e-readers and tablets are ubiquitous, I still prefer the feel of stationery and the smell of a good old-fashioned bookstore. My Bath and Body Works scent of choice is “Bookloft,” if that further explains my point. My love of paper products also extends to crafts and creative projects. There is nothing like the feel of various types of paper, the sound of cutting into it, and the mediums you can use to create something beautiful.

For book lovers, these are great choices that offer thought-provoking views of past and present social behaviors.

If you are interested in WWII, this book explains the fascinating journey of books during the Nazi occupation of Europe, and how some books are still trying to be reunited with their owners today.

As a fan of Gladwell’s work, this most recent book did not disappoint. Taking a look at how small changes can trigger large-scale social behaviors, trends, and problems is a relatable concept to everyone, everywhere.

I always make sure that during the winter I have plenty of activities to keep me busy, so if anyone has a great book or craft recommendation, feel free to share!
