Adventure in Your Own Backyard

Part of leaving home and traveling to places unknown is that you are forced to try new things and break out of your comfort zone. However, sometimes you also get to do that when you are close to home. The other day I was in central PA, traveling to an area I had never been to before, and I discovered a beautiful cafe that I just had to visit.

You can see the black pattern covering the windows, which caught my attention. Once you are inside, the experience is even more beautiful.

Walking up to the kiosk, I decided to pick something I had never even heard of before. Luckily, everything had pictures, so I wasn’t ordering totally blind. I settled on a Date Latte, an Iced Adeni Latte, and a Honeycomb Cake. In just a few minutes, the order was ready and we dug in!

My photos do not do this treat (or the cafe) justice. You simply must visit in person to see how every inch of the building was gorgeous and the menu items were magazine-worthy. If you find yourself in the Mechanicsburg area, check out Yemeni Corner Coffee House, and try something new!
